Comfort Inn & Suites Downtown Edmonton

Sheryl at the front desk made our stay much more enjoyable. We arrived early, and when we called, she explained the Choice Privilege Membership Program and that members can check in early without a fee. She was friendly and took time to suggest meal options, give us a little map, and show us how to get there. Everything was within walking distance, including Roger's Place for the hockey came. Sheryl's care and service made for an excellent experience from start to finish and gave us great lasting memories. It's refreshing to meet someone who really cares about the person in front of them. Thank you, Sheryl.

I've stayed many times, and Patrick and the rest of the staff have always been welcoming and professional. For a downtown stay, I find it one of the least expensive options, and it's safe and run by wonderful people. The current owners care about people more than money. They've spent many years renovating and bringing the hotel up to standard. The previous owners only cared about money, and the hotel deteriorated so much that the pool and other facilities were unusable for years.

5/5 for the bed, the mattress is perfect. The room and price get 5/5, as does the service. All the staff, including Cheryl & Navi, are very helpful. Management is 5/5 too. Breakfast gets 5/5: waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage, juice, coffee, and plenty more. I'd give the restaurant 4/5. It's yummy, with great service and fair prices, though it's not cuisine. Only downside: I can demagnetize the door card easily with my iPhone and Apple tag.

We had to pay $10 for parking, and I showered with my flip flops on. The room and hotel were so dirty, and the building so rundown, it was actually sad. It could be such an amazing hotel. We've stayed in lots of other Comfort Inn hotels, and they've all been clean and neat. I wouldn't recommend this one to anyone.
