Le Manoir Lac-Etchemin

We had everything we needed, and the staff were really accommodating. Our first-floor room had two bedrooms, and it was convenient having an outside door right in the room so we could load up the car quickly. The rooms were nice and clean, and the lake view was beautiful. There were swings by the water where we could hang out.

The restaurant staff were smiling, efficient, and professional, and the food was good and underpriced compared with places nearby. The pool and spa were sparkling clean. We stayed this week in an older-style hotel building. The rooms show their age but were super clean and smelled good. Every employee was eager to help with our needs and questions. Considering the lake, service, and products, the total cost felt like 110%.

The room was small but arranged well, with some nice modern touches. The kids loved the great pool. The beach is small, though there are plenty of SUPs and kayaks to use. We especially liked the beautiful lawn, which was perfect for eating outside. We loved our stay.

The pool, spa, lobby, grounds, and even the room were nice, but the restaurant was awful. The menu was quick and small, nothing like what was advertised. Food came out cold, orders were wrong, and there were delays at every table, not just ours. Our room was humid because the toilet and bath kept running, and the air conditioner wasn't plugged in. Maybe it was due to a shortage of staff during Covid or the change to a new owner. Either way, it was quite a disappointment.
