Curtis Gordon Motor Hotel

After ten years away, I came back and Kimi was there to greet me. She’s a one-of-a-kind person and the best server ever, she’ll remember your order decades later. I also hope people get to meet Al, who’s 86 years young and has been coming here for decades. He’s an amazing historian with all the stories you could need. Places like this, and people like Kimi and Al, deserve our attention. Our stories carry on. Go here, folks!

The workers here were incredibly kind and accommodating, absolutely 10/10. This review isn't about them. I felt genuinely unsafe in the parking lot, it was the sketchiest one I've ever been in. The rooms were really, really gross, and the smell throughout the building was so strong it took my breath away.

The service at the new store is somehow even worse than the old garbage service, which is hard to believe. If you call to ask whether something is in stock, they just say they don't know. It's a brand new location, but the service is brutal. Go somewhere else unless you want to support rude service.

The low price was about all this breakfast had going for it. There was dirt in the corners by the booth and on the windowsills, and the seats looked original. Tea and coffee came in tiny, shooter-sized mugs, and nobody offered more tea until I was done eating. The hash browns were undercooked, there was no jam with the toast, and I've never seen an egg cooked this paper thin. I came in expecting a good start to the day, but it was a letdown. Won't be back or recommend it.
