The bed was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms feel dated, with an odd layout and cold, unwelcoming decor and furnishings. Breakfast was a big letdown for me and my family: cheap American food, high in carbs and fat. Even the omelette was covered in Velveeta, and there was no juice or smoothie, just sugary flavored liquid from a machine posing as juice. The hot tub was filthy. For the price, I’m looking forward to trying other options on my next overnight trip to Edmonton.

Breakfast was good, and the underground parking was a bonus. The rooms were clean and we slept well, so the stay was great overall. But the pool deck was gross, and every time we went there were no towels. I was especially concerned that the pool door didn’t lock, which seems unsafe for families. The gym was stuck at 25.5 because its thermostat was broken. When I asked for a fan, I was told they didn’t have one and to leave the door open. The gym also ran out of towels and cleaning cloths.

I’m extremely disappointed with the cleaning and management staff. We accidentally left a very expensive dental appliance behind when checking out. A few hours later, we called right away to ask if it had been found, but were told there was nothing they could do and to call again the next morning when the cleaning staff arrived. We asked them to leave a note because it was important, but felt brushed off. When we called in the morning, we got a similar response. We begged them to let us know if they found it, but nobody ever called with an update. That service is absolutely unacceptable. Was it just thrown in the garbage? Surely there must be a lost and found. We can’t be the first people to forget something. I will never recommend this hotel.

Jenna and the rest of the staff were very friendly and helpful, and it was convenient to use the membership benefits. The rooms and amenities were good quality, the gym was alright, and breakfast was fine. The single-use plates seemed like a practical choice.
