Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Edmonton North by IHG

The room was nice and clean, and breakfast was decent. I gave it 3 stars because the woman checking me in seemed like she didn’t want to be there or have guests. While I filled out the paperwork and deposit, she kept tapping her fake nails on the counter.

There were plenty of restaurants nearby, and the continental breakfast was nice. The room felt roomy and comfortable. I’d stay here again next time I’m in Edmonton.

The location worked really well, with lots to do nearby, and there’s a heated pool and hot tub too. Breakfast is included and covers the basics, from eggs, omelets, sausage and bacon to cereal, toast, waffles and fruit. I also liked the larger Dove products mounted in the bathrooms. Everything was clean, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you’re in the area.

Our room was very clean, and every staff member greeted us warmly. The pool was a hit, and the water wasn’t cold. Other guests were friendly too, and our autistic child got to join in a great game of Marco Polo. At breakfast there was lots of choice, especially the pancake machine, which he loved. The food staff were kind and helpful when he got syrup on his hands, and they kept the food stocked and the area clean. Those little things make a big difference.
