Jim, thanks for such a great stop. The desk manager and hotel manager, along with the rest of the staff, made us feel like family. They answered our questions and sorted out anything we needed right away. The room was unbelievably clean, from the sheets to the toilet. At other hotels we often find hair in the bed or have to wipe things down, but this room felt brand new, like nobody had stayed there. Breakfast had plenty of choices. One day there were scrambled eggs and bacon, and the next there were omelets and sausages, plus waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, fruit, donuts, and yogurt. The pool was closed our first night and unfortunately we couldn't use it after it opened on the last day. It had been closed so they could redo the pool coating, floors, and hot tub. We stayed October 29 to the 31st. We'll definitely see you again next year. Cheers.

The parking lot was dangerously icy, and one ground-floor room stayed bright all night because its thin mesh curtains couldn’t block a very bright landscaping light. We booked a couple of rooms, and some had bigger TVs than others. In one, the microwave was filthy inside; there were dirty Q-tips in the drawers and food on the floors. Another room was beside the lobby bathrooms, with loud plumbing in the walls. The bathroom fan squealed, and the toilet kept running. Someone from maintenance came by, but didn’t seem to speak English. For $170 rooms and $200 deposits, this felt like an $80-a-night stay. Disgusting.

I left my Tiffany sunglasses behind after checkout, and the housekeeping manager called me herself to let me know. She even arranged to ship them to my home in Calgary. That was such thoughtful service from the housekeeping team. I’m really impressed and highly recommend this hotel.

The location worked really well for us, close to West Edmonton mall and within about 20 minutes of everything we wanted to see. Our room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had at a hotel. The staff were exceptional, too. Great place, and we’ll definitely stay again. Highly recommend!
