The pub right beside the hotel was amazing, and there’s a pool, hot tub, and sauna. Breakfast is included, and it’s good value with the hill and restaurants nearby. The big issue was the noise. We had a dog, so we were put on the first floor, where the pet-friendly rooms are. You can hear everything down there. If you’re hoping to get to sleep early before a ski day, good luck.

The mountain views from our room were beautiful, and the location made it easy to get to the center. Parking was simple too, with lots of spaces. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and we really liked the pool right in the lobby. It’s such a cute, cozy hotel. I stayed last year and loved it. I just wish they had a restaurant on site or a breakfast option. Would recommend this place in Fernie!

Having the pool and hot tub in the middle of the hotel was a great touch, and our room was very clean with a nice balcony. The downsides were hearing kids swimming just outside our door and finding parking, which gets tight when the hotel is full.

It’s right on Highway 3, but we didn’t hear traffic at all, and town is only a 5-7 minute walk away. Nothing is more than about 10 minutes away, which was really convenient. The lodge was very accessible for my husband, who uses a wheelchair, though the room bathrooms might be an exception. Our room was fantastic and super clean, and we loved the pool and hot tub. We’ll definitely come back.

I’ve stayed here almost every time I’ve visited Fernie over the past few years, and I’ve always appreciated the experience. It’s quieter than staying right in town, but downtown is no more than a 10-minute walk. The pool’s in an unusual spot, but it’s a beautiful setting. Service is great too. They respond efficiently to my emails and questions and are helpful when something comes up. I’m coming back this New Year and recommend it for a longer stay or a quick stop.
