At 3 AM EST, I called the front desk in tears because there had been an accident and I couldn’t reach my fiancé. His phone was probably on silent. The owner said they couldn’t forward calls, which I understood, so I asked if someone could go to his room. Instead, she kept demanding to know what kind of emergency it was and said she’d tell him in the morning. She hung up while I was crying and pleading for help. I called again, but she refused to contact him, hung up again, then wouldn’t answer when I tried once more. I hope no one else has to call a motel in that situation and be treated that way. My fiancé checked out first thing in the morning and couldn’t understand why they hadn’t come to get him. The room was booked as a kitchenette, but there was no oven when we arrived. Staff wouldn’t accommodate the request or offer my fiancé a discount. The rooms are old, worn, and filthy, and the owners were unpleasant. I don’t usually write bad reviews, but don’t stay here.

The people were great and friendly, and I had no problems during my stay. It’s an older place, so it’s not perfect, but the bed was big and comfortable, the fridge was large, and the rooms were cleaned every two days. I’d recommend staying at Alaskan Motel.

Having the grocery store, pizza, and a bar right there makes this my favorite spot on the strip. The rates are great, and the rooms are clean and spacious. This was my third stay at Alaskan motel, and I can’t see myself choosing anywhere else when I’m in fox. The people are always welcoming and go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable. Management is accommodating too, and makes you feel appreciated instead of like just another number. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a good room at a good rate.

The room smelled like an old barn, and the place was filthy. They don’t replace the towels. I wouldn’t touch the remotes either, they’ve clearly never been cleaned. Don’t recommend staying here.
