I enjoyed the location during my four-night stay. It's close to the river for lovely walks, with a brewery and café among the good places within walking distance. I also really liked the pub on-site. The property is older, but well maintained and has some charm, and my room was clean and comfortable when I arrived. What let the stay down was the lack of housekeeping for the rest of my visit. I consider daily room cleaning a basic expectation, and missing it affected my experience. I liked a lot about the hotel, but because of that I wouldn't choose to stay again.

The motel is often the best-priced option in Fredericton. There's a pub on-site, though it closes early and doesn't open until 11:30 a.m., half an hour after checkout. It'd be better if it opened at 11 so guests could grab something before hitting the road. There's a great microbrewery just 600 metres away. Also, the front desk isn't staffed after 9 p.m.

It's a locally owned place, and the hotelier has done a good job keeping up what used to be a familiar sight across Atlantic Canada, the roadside motel. Rooms are a good size, solidly built, with clean beds, decent pillows and a tidy bathroom. Nice to have cable TV again when so many places have switched to streaming. The attached pub has a very good beer selection, a nice range of cocktails and maybe some of the best wait staff in Canada. It isn't perfect, but it delivers what it promises.

The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Staff were super friendly, kind and helpful. Near scenic walking trails that lead downtown, this place feels like a hidden gem. The Wi-Fi coverage was remarkable.

An older classic, but cleaner than the nearby hotels. The price is fair for the kind of stay you get, and what you see is what you get. The food is the best in town, don't miss it. This is the place you need when you need it most.
