Waterfront Suites and Marina

The location is nice, with easy access to the board walk, but the room was gross and seemed never to have been cleaned. A staff member was especially rude, argumentative, and aggressive. He said I wasn't allowed to complain about the room and wouldn't move me. The bathroom was disgusting, with used water bottles under the sink, soccer cleats, and thick, short black hair everywhere. There was no hot water and the shower pressure was terrible. The carpet had toenail clippings, sunflower seeds, and glittery slime. The sliding glass door had black sticky residue and dried, crusty boogers. The plywood deck felt dangerous, like it might fall through. The fridge leaked, and the toilet wouldn't flush properly and would overflow. Staff wouldn't arrange cleanup or give me anything to clean it with. The dishes were dirty, there was no cookware, and the oven and microwave were dirty. The water looked very questionable, yellow-orange in color. I watched the cleaning lady work one day. She didn't change the sheets on one bed, vacuum, or wipe anything. She didn't clean the bathroom either, just swapped in stained towels, added toilet paper rolls and some soap.

The hotel has a nice view and friendly staff. I especially recommend Rinku, the front desk manager. She's professional and helpful when resolving issues.

Rinku is amazing. They helped me out of a tough spot when I needed a last-minute booking. It's a lovely, quiet spot on the water, and I'd always recommend it.

The showers were amazing, cleaner than the bathrooms at the last, more expensive marina we stayed at. They run for 10 minutes and cost $2.00. When we called about staying a couple of nights, they emailed us a marina map showing our slip, and the office staff were friendly, helpful, and informative. The docks look brand new and are well lit at night. The marina itself has been great, though the suites on the property look pretty run down.
