The restaurant was really nice, and we’ll be back. The harbour has pretty much everything you need, including fuel, a small grocery store, laundry, washrooms and showers. The shower setup felt a bit exposed and informal because the facility is small. We had a good slip on C dock and watching the boat traffic go by was entertaining, to say the least. There isn’t much within walking distance around this part of the harbour. Staff are usually great, though the single gas dock gets so busy that they can seem overwhelmed and grumpy sometimes. We saw a few boaters who weren’t cooperating, so that’s understandable. Another great stay at John Henry's marina. Thanks, John Henry 🤙

There isn’t much nearby beyond the marina, so plan ahead. The fuel was 50 cents more than in Nanaimo. The docks looked new, the washrooms and shower were clean, and there was power at the slips, though the water taps were a long way off. The new restaurant was closed during our visit, but the store seemed well stocked.

The store is great for the area, and they helped us while we were docking. The new docks have roomy slips and fairways, with water, diesel and 50-amp power available. The bathrooms and shower were in good shape too. There’s no pump-out, though that’s just how things are as you head north. The only nearby restaurant option is fine dining at Osprey, and it was awesome. As a marina, this place was great.

Everyone working there was so friendly, and it’s a nice spot to pop in and say hello. I had a really tasty Club House today, and the quality was fresh with good prices. The little restaurant and general store are both great. Definitely worth stopping when you’re around the Harbour.

Their homemade chili and lasagne were both great, two thumbs up. It’s a good general store with some very nice ready-made dinners. Winter hours start after October 1, when it’s closed Sunday and Monday.
