The Groupon makes me want to come back, and the location is great value. The course has some fun undulations and lovely scenery, and it’s playable whatever your skill level. Still, it could use some TLC, especially the beat-up tee boxes. There are lots of Canada geese, including on a par 3. The carts are slow and old-fashioned, with no GPS, though decently priced. The dining area is beautiful and modern, good for drinks or more after golf.

The greens were okay, but for the middle of June I expected them to be a bit better. The layout also got confusing at times. It’s an average course with some potential.

My buddy paid $40 to rent clubs from the 80's, and they were damaged all over. The course itself is kind of neat, but I don’t think it’s worth the money. There are too many short par 3's, and the layout is odd, with tee boxes for other holes in the fairways. After some holes, you have to drive all the way back to the tee box.

The Koena spa package was incredible, and as hotel guests we skipped all the lines. We had a very spacious, clean room for our anniversary stay. We’ll definitely be back.

I have a great time every time I play here, and the greens have improved a lot, especially at riverside hole number 5. It’s great value for your money. With Gatineau golf club’s layout wrecked by the homes being built, this is easily the best public course in the area.
