The new management team did a fantastic job, even though the previous team apparently left in a hurry and handed over only the names of arriving guests. Those four stars for service are for them. The building itself has seen better days, though I do like the bright bathroom. Now that the owners of the motel around the corner have taken over, I’m looking forward to improvements, since they seem to run their other property well.

The woman at the front desk was very friendly, which was about the only good thing here. The floor didn’t feel clean, the walls are thin, and the shower barely worked. There was also what looked like a bloodstain on the ceiling above the bed in room 123. At $100 a night, I’ll stay somewhere else next time.

The area felt safe, and a gas station, bank, and grocery store are all a short walk away. Service and housekeeping were good, and the price reflects the condition. Only the top outlet in each wall receptacle worked. I’d stay here again.

This is my favorite place to stay in Gibson's. The rooms give you plenty of space for the affordable rates, and it’s close to BC Ferries. Whenever I’m in Gibson's, it’s a lovely spot to stay and relax.

An older motel, but it was clean and had what I needed, including a microwave and fridge. Wildlife wanders through freely, so keep your camera handy. You never know what you might catch.
