Breakfast was great both mornings, and the views, yard, and guest deck were lovely. I stayed two nights. The host was friendly and helpful, and the Rose room was clean and nice, though small. There’s no A/C in the room, but the big window and good ceiling fan kept the temperature just right. The tap water wasn’t drinkable because of nearby construction, so having a water cooler in the room was fantastic and convenient. I’d recommend it and stay again.

The cooked breakfast each morning was wonderful, and the hosts were kind and quick to respond. We had a smaller room with a harbor view. It’s a lovely old house turned into a small bed and breakfast style inn, with spacious, comfortable common areas. A great spot to stay on Grand Manan.

The location is handy, close to the Grand Manan Ferry and other viewpoints. We booked on Booking.com and had a lovely, cozy room, with breakfast included. They don’t offer any other meals at the moment.

Really lame. We only wanted to stay one night and had a service animal with us. Instead of letting us book the basic room we were counting on, she insisted we take the much more expensive Garden Room.

The breakfast was delicious, and the views were stunning. Our room was spacious, attractive, and well appointed, with a comfortable bed and chairs and everything a traveler needs. Compass Rose Inn is beautiful and centrally located. It was worth the trip to Grand Manan just to stay there. Thank you!
