Western Hotel & Executive Suites

We’ve only just started staying at the Western, and I’m already impressed. Everything feels clean and welcoming. The room has a full kitchen with cookware, dishwasher pods, and dish soap, plus a full-size fridge. There’s a huge TV in the living area and another in the bedroom. Only thing that could improve it is some wine, lol.

My Ma and I stayed for two nights. The rooms are roomy suites with kitchens, and they’re nicely equipped and clean. There were robes in the closet, which was a nice touch, and the tub and shower were clean and a good size. There’s no elevator, but my Ma took the stairs slowly and steadily without any trouble. I had an inside room and was fine with it. Ma’s room faced outside, and it wasn’t very loud.

The rooms are spacious for two, and the service is good. I really liked how clean and quiet the place was. Since it’s downtown, you can step outside and find everything you need near the hotel.

I nearly skipped this hotel because of the noise complaints in the reviews, but I’m glad I booked it. My room, number 304, was very quiet, with no street or hallway noise. The bed was comfortable and firm, and the standard queen studio I booked had more space than a typical hotel room. Check-in takes place at the pub downstairs. The server/hostess was friendly, though it felt a bit odd not to have a regular front desk. The location is hard to beat, close to the train station and lots of good shops and restaurants. I’d definitely stay here again.
