Mount Saint Vincent University Residence - Hostel

In Intro to Psychology at Mount Saint Vincent University (Professor A francis), I found the grading unfair and hard to understand. Some students got zeros on assignments without a clear reason or useful feedback, so there was no real chance to learn from mistakes or improve. Even when we politely asked about marks, the replies felt dismissive, and concerns weren’t reviewed or rechecked. It caused a lot of stress and frustration. PSYC 11101 should help students build a foundation in psychology, but the course felt rigid and unsupportive instead. Many of us worked hard and still failed under grading standards that seemed extremely strict and unclear. Students deserve consistent, transparent evaluation and proper feedback. That wasn’t my experience, and I hope the university looks into it and gives students better support in the future.

I finished my master’s at MSVU last week. I did it online and loved the program. The campus is small, cozy, and beautiful.

The professors are very nice, and the staff are helpful. As an international student, I’m grateful for how hard they work to help students like me through difficult times. When I struggled with school and life, their kindness helped me get through it.

Go to another university in Nova Scotia. This school seems more accepting of racism and discrimination than any of the others. Save your money for somewhere better, where equality means more than words on a page.
