The caretaker we reached was very friendly and helpful, and the beds were comfortable. We spent four days in Cabin #6, which we booked on Airbnb, but after calling directly found it was $200 less that way. Even with the savings, we were disappointed for what we paid. The cabin was run down, with floors slanted enough to make it hard for my 79-year-old mom to walk while using the kitchen. The bathroom leaked badly and left a lot of water on the floor, so we had to call the caretakers for help. The ceramic heater sometimes wasn't enough to keep us warm, and we were glad we'd brought blankets for the couch, which was falling apart in places. We first had an incorrect entry code, but managed to reach the caretakers and get the right one. Other cabins may be nicer, as other reviews suggest, but Cabin #6 should be much cheaper. It's close to roughing it, apart from the beds. We won't return or recommend it.
