Crestwood Hotel

The receptionist was so sweet, and checkout was easy: we dropped our keys in a basket and left. Inside, the room was much cleaner than we expected from the plain-looking exterior, especially for the price. The bathroom had clearly been scrubbed, including the smooth floor and tub, and the sheets smelled nice. We found the bed really comfortable and couldn't get over how spotless everything was. A pleasant surprise for this price range and kind of hotel.

Jasper was both pricey and sold out, so we went on to Hinton. Creswood was a good place to stay, even though it's 70 km from Jasper. We also spotted mountain goats on the drive. The rate was affordable.

We were happy with the price and have stayed twice already. The showers and bedding felt new and comfortable, and the rooms are very clean. We'll stay again.

The room itself was decent, but the place didn't feel welcoming. When I arrived, nobody was at the desk for at least five minutes; then the woman came out and asked, “checking out?” even though I was there to check in. If you're on night shift, don't expect much sleep: cleaners left a walkie-talkie blaring on their cart outside a night-shift guest's room, while talking and slamming doors through the day. There's no elevator, and most of the parking lot seems laid out for small cars. Also, despite what other reviews say, there was no continental breakfast, just tea and coffee.
