The location and basic amenities were fine, but thin walls and partitions really hurt my stay. At night I could clearly hear noise from other rooms, which made it hard to sleep or relax. The lack of sound insulation took away from the comfort of the room. Better soundproofing would make a big difference for future guests.

The attached restaurant, The Wood Cutter, served great food, hearty pub fare. We liked lunch so much we went back for dinner. Lindsey was fabulous at lunch and made me feel like I was talking to family. Morgan was great at dinner too, taking time to chat and make us feel welcome even while she was busy. At the hotel, Tracy was the evening front desk agent and went above and beyond to get me a room on the 1st floor because the elevator was out of order. I have mobility issues, so I didn’t want to climb to the 3rd floor.

We used this as a pit stop on the way to BC, and it was just right for a good night’s rest. Nothing fancy, but the room was clean and quiet, and we were very happy with it. Coffee and muffins in the lobby in the morning were a lovely extra.

The Sunday, August 10th front desk attendant was kind and helpful, which was especially nice after a long drive. It’s an older hotel, but comfortable and clean.

Room service was working hard, thanks so much. My stay at twin pines was really enjoyable, with helpful and pleasant staff. Woodcutters is alright and has some decent food too.
