Sigma Inn & Suites Hudson's Hope

I travel to a lot of small northern towns for work, and I haven't had service this good anywhere else. I had accidentally booked a day late, so my room wasn't ready when I arrived. They had an upgraded room available and gave it to me for the standard rate for my whole stay, without hesitation.

The room reeked of smoke, and the bathroom had more hair in it than I have on my head. I asked management to clean it better, but the hairs were still there afterward. They did manage to wash the urine off the shower curtain, so I guess that's a partial win. The hot tub doesn't work either.

The suites are a decent size, and they could be comfortable, but cleanliness is a real problem when I'm here for a couple of weeks at a time. The walls are dirty, there's hair on the bed and in the bathroom, and the towels are ripped and stained. Even the dishes still had food on them. The hot tub sits empty because it doesn't work, and the gym is small with old, outdated equipment.

The beds are decent, the AC blows cold, and the blackout blinds work fairly well. The rooms are clean and looked after, though they haven't been updated in a while and are showing wear. The kitchenettes work, but for an extended work stay I'd bring a decent knife, a small cutting board, and a frypan.
