Our Airbnb fell through, so we called at the last minute and they managed to fit us in with two rooms, one of which could accommodate our dog. The staff were helpful and friendly, and the rooms were spacious and very clean. Breakfast was included, and the gym and pool were pleasant and well maintained. It’s in a good spot near food, shops, and nature trails. I recommend it for a visit to Huntsville.
We enjoyed our stay and would come back if we were in the area. The hotel has modern, appealing furniture and decor, kind and helpful staff, a nice pool area with a comfortable water temperature, and plenty of free parking. Breakfast had a good variety and tasted great overall, though I wish the fried eggs had been warm. They sat in the same serving bin as the warm sausages, so I’m not sure why they were cold. I did notice the cleaning issues other commenters mentioned. There were things on our room carpet that wouldn’t have been there if it had been vacuumed before arrival, plus two very visible items in the bathroom that should have been removed during cleaning. Still, I’m giving it four stars.
The price was better than I’ve paid at other brand-name motels that didn’t include breakfast, a pool, or gym. One person in a queen Suite was $126 All In. I’m planning to stay again in the coming months. I’d noticed the hotel being built a couple years ago, looked it up online, and wanted to try it. I booked just one night and arrived around 11:30 a.m., even though check-in was 4:00. Sometimes you can get in early, and my room was ready. It was nicely appointed and spacious, with a deep sink for washing cups, a full-sized stainless steel fridge, dishwasher, and microwave. The bathroom was beautiful, but the sliding glass shower doors seemed backwards: spray toward the door and water gets out, so I turned the shower head toward the other wall. I tried the pool; it felt a bit cool at first, but I got used to it after about five minutes. Breakfast had a good assortment. Two things could be improved. When the heater isn’t running, it seems a damper stays open and lets frigid outside air into the room, making the floor in front of it absolutely freezing. Also, the snow outside the main entrance needed better shoveling. It had piled up enough to raise the risk of a fall and get tracked into the lobby.
A few things could be better: the layout wasn’t very practical, the window area felt cold in very cold weather, the mattress and pillows weren’t especially comfortable, and some fixtures and light placement could use improvement. Still, our family had a pleasant two-night stay. Check-in and checkout were smooth, staff were helpful, and the hotel felt new and well maintained. Breakfast and 24-hour coffee were handy, parking was plentiful with EV charging, and we were close to stores and restaurants. We’d consider staying again.
We spent seven nights here over the holiday season, and it left me really disappointed in upper management and some of the local team. The sofa bed was horrible. I wouldn’t wish it on my pet. The hotel offers a gym, an outdoor fireplace, and internet, but none worked at full capacity. The Peloton seat couldn’t be adjusted because its handle was broken, and the bike wouldn’t connect to the internet, so its features weren’t fully usable. The fire pit and chairs outside stayed covered in snow, leaving guests no access. Breakfast was okay, but weather disruptions meant fewer options and products because the delivery truck couldn’t get to town. I wonder who checks stock against the guest list. Staff also didn’t listen to requests: another guest asked for the butter container to be replaced and got margarine instead. We had to ask someone to clean our room after the third day because they’d left us off the roster. This doesn’t feel like a place for families. Maybe it works for someone travelling alone on business, but I don’t think the hotel wants or appreciates families staying there. The worst part was management’s response. A bot asked how my stay was; I rated it 3 and explained what could improve, but nothing happened. Afterward, I emailed my experience to another bot, I believe named Meghan, and didn’t even get a “we are sorry.”
