Huntsville Inn

For two nights, Nov 7th and 8th, 2025, we barely slept. The bathroom was cramped and the toilet didn't flush properly, and the beds and pillows weren't comfortable either. When the snow started, we expected to be warm, but the heater in our first room made such a loud noise that we couldn't sleep. They moved us the next day, but the heater in the second room kept switching itself on and off through the night. It was the same sleepless experience again. For the price, I expected basic comfort and working facilities. This was exhausting and very disappointing, and I wouldn't recommend staying here, especially in winter.

Everything you need is within about 500m, which made the location great. We got an upgrade to the family suite, with newer beds and updated bathrooms. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. We'd stay here again.

Warm and cozy in winter, with a comfortable bed and a level of cleanliness better than a lot of fancy hotels. Really good value for the price. Five stars.

The owner, I presume, checked us in and was very pleasant. We could get ice just by asking at the office, and the rate was lower than other places nearby. Our room was small and a bit dated, but clean, and the bed was comfy. The bathroom looked recently renovated. We had everything we needed for one night, including a microwave, coffee machine, fridge, and air conditioning. The window was a solid pane that didn't open for ventilation. I noticed the upstairs rooms had sliding screens, so perhaps the ground-floor windows are solid for security. A good stay for our first visit.
