Chalets Plage St-Jean

The owner is very kind, and the amenities are exceptional. Everything was extremely clean and very quiet. A great place to spend some quality time.

The Le Huard cottage is well equipped for a group, with plenty of kitchen gear, a large refrigerator, a dishwasher, and 3 small bedrooms with double beds. There’s also a small TV with basic channels, but no sports channels. The Wi-Fi is poor at 2.3 Mbps, slower than the cellular network. We were 33 people across 6 cottages on the same site, with the pool in the center, and it worked well for a large group. The location on the banks of the St. Lawrence River is beautiful, with sun all day but no sunsets. It’s expensive, though there’s nothing like it on the island. There’s a very good family restaurant just across the road.

We rented the German chalet and had a most enjoyable stay. The view is perfect, and the location is very good. It was tastefully decorated and had everything we needed, so we only had to bring our luggage. The owner was very friendly. I’ve stayed in many places and highly recommend it, without hesitation.

We stayed in the Huard chalet, set up high to make the most of the view. There was plenty of room to play fetch and a swing set just for us. The chalet was spotless, nicely equipped, and well placed on the island, with a beautiful outlook. The pool was a great extra, and the owners were really friendly. I highly recommend it.
