We were three adults in one family, traveling along the Cabot Trail, and only wish we’d stayed longer than one night. The cottage was spotless and comfortable, with a bedroom, a very comfortable pull-out couch, kitchen, air conditioner, outdoor seating, and BBQ. The view was beautiful, and we could hear the waves crashing. Friendly staff, too. A lovely beach with warm water was nearby, though there was a bit of seaweed. It’s a 10-minute walk or 3-minute drive, and the host lent us beach towels. Traffic noise during the day was the only downside, though that seems pretty normal around Cape Breton. We loved the spot and will definitely come back. Highly recommend.

The location is outstanding, parking is great, and check-in was easy. The room is basic but has what you need, though it’s quite dated. I wouldn’t choose to lounge around there, but the quality felt fair for the price.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t make the trip after booking this cottage. I tried to cancel just before the deadline, but the time difference in Nova Scotia meant the cancellation didn’t go through in time. I also asked agent support for help, but the host wouldn’t agree to the cancellation. It wasn’t successful, and I received no refund.

It’s dog-friendly, and my dog had a wonderful time playing on the grass. I loved the big lawn with chairs and swings, and the view was beautiful to sit and enjoy. Our room was cozy and clean, and the staff were helpful and responsive. They even sorted out problems late at night. I’d definitely recommend this motel.

A peaceful, quiet place with a beautiful view from the motel. The room was cozy and had wifi, and there’s a backyard with swings and benches for relaxing. The staff were really nice and friendly. There are lots of cafes and marts nearby too. Best place to stay at Cape Breton, honestly 👏🏻
