We had fresh home-cooked breakfast each morning, a lovely start to the day, and enjoyed great conversation with our friendly host on the backyard deck among the garden. It really felt like a home away from home, with comfortable accommodations in a quiet neighborhood. The location worked well for visiting Kelowna, West Kelowna, or West Bank. I'd highly recommend this B&B to anyone staying in the Kelowna area.

We booked the lower east room for two nights at $273.00 and left after one, but were charged for both. The house offered none of the amenities shown. On arrival, we were told to remove our shoes because of a new dark grey carpet. The room was small, had one tiny fan, no air conditioning, and a broken window we were told not to touch. The bathroom was shared with strangers, and our room only locked from inside. We weren't given keys; we were told she could look after them. When we questioned these things, she got defensive and said we'd booked the cheapest room. I've stayed in hotels, motels, and B&Bs in several countries, and never seen anything so poor. For $130 per night, I expected our own bathroom and access to a TV, which we were denied. Breakfast was a poached egg, lightly toasted bread, some berries, and a tiny amount of yogurt. Tea wasn't offered, and the coffee was warm. Some breakfast. I was accused of not reading the fine print, but showed her an image of my booking on my phone. The room was stifling hot, and when we said we were uncomfortable, she again said we had the cheapest room. The towels had bleach spots, and old toiletries from previous guests had been left out, including a used soap and an old nail brush. The house felt very outdated, like it was from the 1980s. Nearby there was only a gas station and a run-down pub. Free Wi-Fi is advertised, but that's standard, and who charges a parking fee for a hotel, motel, or B&B? I could go on. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I don't understand the 4- or 5-star reviews, and I think there's a real safety issue if a fire happened and the window couldn't open. I was very unhappy with her demeaning attitude.

Morning Glory is a lovely place to stay. The host is charming, the rooms are neat and clean, and breakfast is a real treat. Highly recommended!

We arrived hours before check-in, but they welcomed us kindly anyway and treated us like family. Our room even had a ceiling fan, and I've decided I can't live without one.

I don't think this place is suitable for kids. We had a really bad experience with the lady, and I would never recommend it to families with children.
