Super 8 Kenora

For a budget hotel, the rooms were more comfortable and modern than I expected, and they were clean. The breakfast was enough to get you on your way. Staff were pleasant, and I noticed how accommodating they were while helping other people check in. They also offered soup in the evening, a nice option for tired travelers, especially in winter. There's a good restaurant right next door, though it seems to close some days during winter.

We were in town for a hockey tournament with two of my kids, and the Super 8 in Kenora suited us perfectly. It was clean and practical, with a free breakfast and lots of choices. The staff were easygoing and approachable, and having Casey's restaurant nearby was a plus. We'll definitely be back!

For a Super 8, the room was nice, clean, and quiet, and breakfast was decent. The beds weren't very comfortable, though. It was handy to have a fridge for medications and a microwave for leftovers. Paying $197 for this level of hotel on a stormy night when you need to get off the highway is crazy, especially in the off-season.

I've stopped here a couple of times while traveling across the country. It's no luxury stay, but it's been reliable every time. Clean, warm, convenient, with friendly staff who work hard. The town centre is only a few minutes away by car, so it's a good place to spend the night while passing through.
