The setting was a real highlight, with lovely scenery and a big pool out back. It's also peaceful and quiet, just a stone's throw from Basin Head beach and provincial park. The family running the motel were warm and welcoming, and the rooms were comfortable for the price. I really enjoyed staying here.

The owners were lovely and clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay. If we needed anything, all we had to do was ask, and they took care of it. It's a down home kind of place where you feel at home. Thanks, Singing sands. I'll definitely come back.

The pool was a nice bonus for us, and my kids LOVED the avocado tub. Killer cool. It's an older place, but still really nice, with a kind person at the front desk and a very reasonable price. I'd stay again.

We found a fun labyrinth behind the motel, and Basin Head beach is only a 20 minute walk or a 5 minute drive away. Souris is 12 minutes away. Our balcony room had a spectacular view, and it was spotlessly clean and comfortable for all 8 nights we stayed in July. The owners were so kind and went out of their way to help with any request. The furnishings are dated, but you can channel your inner Don Draper and pretend it's the 1970s again! You can't beat the value. We'll definitely be back.

Breakfast was packed for each person in the morning. The pool was closed during our stay, but we were close to East Point and very close to our favourite beach, Basin Head Beach. The motel was old, though the morning had a quite fantastic feel to it. The owner was very nice and made sure we felt welcome. They also answered the questions I had by email. We enjoyed our stay.
