All Suites Whitney Manor

Our two-bedroom suite worked really well for five people. One bedroom had a queen bed, while the other had a king and a single. The kitchen was fully equipped, with tea and a Nespresso machine plus a good selection of coffee. The property is beautiful and comfortable, with a lovely homey feel. We'll definitely return.

We found the instructions for everything very clear, so there was no need to ask for help, and check-in and checkout were easy. The grounds are well kept, and the place is quiet enough that you can hear birds from bed. It's away from the main road and easy to get to Kingston. We stayed two nights in the Chapel suite. The bed was comfortable and it had everything else we needed. In wet, cold weather, though, the ducted heating struggled and the fan kept kicking on noisily overnight. The exposed stone also made the living room feel less cozy. Those things seem tied to how the Chapel was converted. We enjoyed the stay overall, and think it would feel more welcoming in better weather. There's an EV charging point at the property, though we didn't use it since Kingston had high-capacity chargers. The suite did what we needed.

We brought our two teenage boys, and the Chapel Suite gave them space of their own, including their own beds. Our son, who's a chef, was able to make us a lovely meal in the well-equipped kitchen. It's a peaceful refuge and very well maintained, with great beds and impeccable cleanliness. The location was ideal, too, and our hosts responded quickly. I almost want to keep this place to ourselves, but that wouldn't be fair. Highly recommended.

The Chapel 2 suite was a great fit for our girls' weekend at Whitney Manor. We could cook, eat, and relax together, and having two bathrooms was handy. The heated floor was a nice counter to the cold stone walls. I do wish the bedroom with multiple beds had a door, since it would have made sleeping in quietly easier. Still, it's good value for a high-end stay and exceeded what we expected.
