The house and its beautiful driveway made an impression as soon as we arrived, and our room was lovely, with a modern shower. Auberge la Chatelaine gave us the warmest, most genuine welcome we’ve had in all our travels. We had breakfast on the veranda each morning, looking over the gardens and lake, with homemade yogurt, breads, jams, and sausage. It was my birthday, and they took extra care of us. Try one of their special hot chocolates with chantilly creme! There’s plenty to do nearby and some great restaurants, but two days wasn’t enough for us. We’ll be back to our new home away from home. Thanks for taking such good care of us.

Quentin & Laurent made us feel right at home and had helpful ideas for things to do, along with dinner reservations. The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and breakfast was really good, with everything homemade. We had a really nice time at this cute Auberge, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re in the area.

We had a wonderful four-night stay and loved it. Laurent and Quentin are such a lovely, humble, adorable couple, and they’re attentive to making guests comfortable. They mark up local maps by hand with highlights, and even swap out used towels for fresh, dry ones daily. Breakfast was refined, with lots of homemade things like bread, jams, yogurt, and pork "cretons". The bed and breakfast was spotless, with beautiful surroundings and old-world decor. Thank you, L & Q! We’ll come back.

Breakfast was great, with lots made in house, including bread and jams. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They even did a load of laundry to get maple syrup off a pair of my pants, and helped us book the whale boat tour. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. I’d definitely come back next time.
