The proprietors were friendly, and we enjoyed using the shared walkout shown in the photos. From here it's a short walk to several restaurants and along the river. The continental breakfast was the best we had on the trip, with healthy choices. Room 4 had wine glasses, a corkscrew, coffee maker, microwave, fridge/freezer, and a shower stall but no tub. We didn't get the upgraded river-view window, but that was fine since the windows are small, probably to fit the historic look. It's one narrow block back from the river. I believe this is a boutique hotel, newly built to blend into the historic village. The room was the nicest of our Gaspe Pennisula trip, and the bed was more comfortable than average.

We keep coming back, this was our third stay. It's in a great location, and the place is friendly and very clean. The breakfast had changed this time and wasn't as enjoyable as it was before, but I'll stay here again.
