The bed was comfortable and the TV was big and easy to use, but that's about where the positives end. The rooms weren't clean, the decor was old, and the place didn't feel cared for. The entrance hadn't been swept, the windows were dirty, and the coffee pot looked so old and grimy I didn't trust it. They still use old-fashioned keys, and there's no hairdryer. The price was okay, but I didn't think it was worth it. Maybe it would suit working men who don't notice these things, but I'd spend a little more for a better place.

Parking was free and checkout was easy. The bathroom was also pleasantly spacious. But the bed was very small, and the room itself wasn't much to look at. We barely slept because there was noise all night in the Inn, and we couldn't work out what it was. The person who answered the bell took a long time to come, though once there he was quick and helpful.

We were in 100 Mile for a 24-hour baseball tournament from July 27 to 29. Our first room smelled like wet dog and had lots of cobwebs behind the door. We arrived around 7, had to go to the ball fields, and planned to mention it at the desk later. We got back later than expected, then had another game in the morning, so I took a quick shower. There was dirty soap on the side, and when I turned on the water, a line of dirt washed down the tub. I figured we'd shower quickly and ask for another room. At the desk I calmly explained the problems to the man there and said I'd worked in hotels for 15 years and didn't think a room should look or smell that way, especially at $80 a night. He told me to go to the staff room and train his staff. I wasn't rude, just letting him know. When we returned from our game, another room was available. It was much cleaner and didn't smell, but both rooms were VERY dated. They had old box TVs, tape holding the screen and windows in place, and beds that were sleepable but needed fitted sheets instead of flat ones. The bathrooms needed some TLC, and the coffee pot was old. That night we checked the pool and, OH MY GOD, it was awful. The water was dirty, there was dirt on the bottom, and the place was VERY neglected. The hot tub jets didn't work and its water was yellow. Later, we needed ice for our cooler and called the front desk. A young woman told us to go to the restaurant. We asked the waitress there, who said she'd help when she could. After 20 minutes she came back in a hurry and said she didn't know why they sent us there, since the restaurant was a separate business and the hotel needed its own ice machine. Yes, it does. The experience was not great at all. I left my email for the manager to contact me and still hadn't heard back by August 9.

For the cost, I thought it was decent value, probably the cheapest place in town. The room was clean and simple, with an old CRT TV and a mini fridge but no microwave. There was a little rust on the bathroom fixtures, though everything worked as expected.

The women on staff and the restaurant were fabulous. The room also had a mini fridge, flat-screen TV, microwave, and coffee pot, so it could have been worse. But it smelled, and the cleaner seemed to miss the details. The furniture and blanket were outdated, the bed base was broken and propped on a chunk of rock, and the bathtub badly needed refinishing. The linoleum was lifting off the floor, and the whole place needs a facelift. The pool was nasty and unusable, the hot tub didn't work, and parking was awful. You could hear the neighbors fart. I wouldn't stay again and would suggest the other two hotels.
