Le Bellevue Modern Lodge

Our main letdown was the sauna and spa. They were mentioned in the Booking.com ad, but it wasn't clear that they weren't included with the rooms and were only available when booking the lower apartment. The listing needs to explain the facilities more accurately. I attached a screenshot of the cabin ad. We paid about $1200 for two rooms and two nights over New Year 2026, which felt too expensive for the view, especially since the rooms were small. The beds were okay, but the pillows were old and very hard. There was no kitchen or dining area, only a few plates on a hallway rack. The single microwave was tucked under the counter by the main entrance and was hard to find and use. Coffee machines in both rooms didn't work. When we messaged the owner, he asked whether we'd ever known how to use coffee machines, which really offended my friend. The first night was noisy, with people coming and going and talking loudly until 4 am. We're sharing honest feedback so other travelers aren't disappointed and the owner can improve the place and get more business. The owner's reply to our feedback didn't change that. Even a comment from three years ago mentioned broken coffee machines and confusion about the advertised facilities. We travel a lot and try to give honest feedback to help both travelers and property owners, if they take it as a chance to improve. Thanks.

The hot tub, with its view over the lovely autumn trees, was the best part. We had enough room for everyone while attending a wedding, and found the place clean, with plenty of towels and bedding and a working kitchen.

The balcony is glassed in, and the panorama from there or from the bedroom is hard to forget. You look out over rolling hills covered in conifer forests, and the view stays with you long after leaving. At Gîte Le Bellevue, nature feels close all day: doves coo, chickadees chatter, blue jays call in the morning, and other birds add to the sound. Le Bellevue sits high above that peaceful landscape, and being there feels like the scenery itself is holding you up. It's more than just somewhere to sleep, a calming experience that leaves you feeling replenished.

The view was beautiful, and having a private hot tub made it even better. The place felt welcoming, was clean and well cared for, and the rules and instructions were easy to understand and follow.
