The bed and pillows were comfortable, and we slept well. Our linens were very clean, as were the sink, toilet, bathtub, and other bathroom fixtures. But room 103 really needs its carpet removed. We booked at the last minute for a weekend with dogs, so options were limited, and this place was the closest affordable one available. The fellow at the desk was very nice. Maybe the rooms that don’t allow dogs are in better shape. It seemed like two fellows worked there, and my husband felt the cleaning could use a woman’s touch, especially on the walls, curtains, and in the corners.

The owners and front desk staff were super friendly and welcoming, and the service was great. Our room was clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The green carpet felt straight out of the 80s, but we were only there to sleep, so who cared? The dog smell mentioned in other reviews is real. I’d suggest moving the big dog farther down, away from the main walking area. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay. A special shout-out to the permanent resident whose name starts with J, she was fabulous. We had some great chats at the smoke pit. Thanks, guys!

We were all able to relax and enjoy our stay, and it was fantastic that this was the only place we could find on the island that accepted both dogs and cats. The rooms were clean and functional, and had been renovated since our last visit. We could have used an extra blanket and pillow, but managed. We’ll stay again and recommend it.

The room was clean, and the owner, manager, and staff were really kind and friendly. When I needed to extend my stay, he rearranged the bookings so I could keep the same room. He even blocked a few extra days in case something came up and I had to stay longer. I’d totally recommend staying here.

My room was more like a mini apartment, with a kitchenette and living room, so it felt like good value for the space. The bedsheets and pillowcases were sparkling clean. The premises themselves are pretty old.
