HI Lake Louise Alpine Centre

The prices are really reasonable, and the staff are helpful, with someone at the front desk around the clock to answer all my questions about activities and transport. It’s clean and spacious, in a great location, and has a large kitchen, pool table, fireplace, game room, and movie nights. The Lake Louise ski shuttle picks you up right at the front door, and public buses stop within a few blocks. I’ve stayed at hostels in several countries, and this is my favorite. Lake Louise is a quiet town and a lovely way to experience the mountains. I came in winter and want to return.

There’s a big, cozy common room for snooker, card games, or watching hockey, and the front desk is organized and helpful. I’ve stayed at a lot of hostels, and this may be the best one. The dining room is surprisingly good, more like what you’d expect at a three-star hotel. None of the European hostels I’ve visited have offered such a wide selection of food and dining options. I’ll definitely come back after a few hikes.

Had a great two nights here. I brought my own food, and there was a fully equipped kitchen with a freezer, two big fridges, and a coffee machine. There’s also a cafe in the hostel.

The kitchen was spacious, modern, and very clean, and the showers had just been updated with plenty of hot water. The common areas were lovely, with lots of windows. My stay was excellent and the price was very affordable. I’d highly recommend this hostel. Thank you.
