Tri Century Mill Suites

I think this was a better stay than any chain hotel I’ve tried. Check-in was easy, and Carmine at the front desk was welcoming, helpful, and efficient. Our room was beautiful and extremely clean, with exposed beams, good soap and shampoo, and a fully stocked kitchen. We were in town for a wedding at the Grand Hotel in CP and walked home afterward. I’ll recommend this place to anyone.

The apartment was spacious and worked really well for our family, with room to spread out. It felt like a home, not a typical rental, and every corner had charm. We loved staying in this beautifully renovated old mill in Carleton Place. The tall ceilings, exposed stone and brick, and thoughtful details preserve the building’s character while making it comfortable for modern living. It was peaceful, unique, and made our trip feel special. We’d absolutely stay again and recommend it to families or anyone who appreciates a place with real character.

The owners and site manager were all lovely. This mill on the Mississippi River in Carlton Place, ON has been beautifully restored, with hotel rooms that include a fridge and microwave, as well as residential apartments. Almost every window looks out over the river. I’d highly recommend it for a short or long stay.

We wanted somewhere just outside Ottawa last weekend and chose Tri Century Mill. What a place! It’s on the Mississippi River, no, not THE Mississippi River, so the scenery was lovely, and the room was amazing. Such a beautiful rustic spot. The hosts were lovely and really helpful too. We’d definitely stay again. Check it out!
