Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Edmonton Intl Airport

Breakfast was a highlight for me: fresh, well stocked, and kept very clean. You can tell the staff take pride in how they present the space, which made the start of the day easy and comfortable. At the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Edmonton International Airport, every staff member I met was kind, professional, and attentive to guest satisfaction. The welcome felt genuine from the moment I arrived. If you're near the airport or in Leduc, it's a place you can trust for a comfortable, smooth stay. I'd absolutely return.

The only thing I could really redeem from the room was the bedding. The carpet's cleanliness was questionable, the furniture was frayed and worn, and the remote's battery cover was missing and held on with duct tape. The blackout curtains didn't do their job, so getting proper rest was difficult. Hallway carpet was in deplorable shape, worn and uneven enough to make moving luggage hard. Service was poor too. I had major communication trouble with the night shift staff, whose language skills weren't sufficient for clear conversation when I needed to ask questions or get help. For an airport hotel, breakfast from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. seems impractical, since guests can arrive at odd hours and need to sleep in. My stay was well below expectations, and I wouldn't recommend it if you want a comfortable, functional place near the airport.

The breakfast buffet was excellent, especially the vanilla waffles. The rooms and hotel were very clean and generously sized, and there's a complimentary shuttle to the airport, which is close by. My first stay at the Hampton a few nights ago felt like great value for the price. I'd certainly stay again.

The staff were friendly, and the location is handy for getting around, with the airport, stores, Costco, restaurants, and highway nearby. But the hotel doesn't meet Hilton standards. The rooms are old, the carpet smells, and the furniture is badly worn. I won't book again unless they completely renovate.
