The location was nice and the service decent, but finding two socks left by other people was annoying. One was on the floor by the bed and the other under it. Neither belonged to me or my sister. If both were missed, the cleaners clearly weren’t doing a thorough enough job. There’s no telling how long the socks had been there.

We spent eight nights here and had a mix of good and frustrating things. The staff were exceptionally friendly and polite, the location made it easy to get to attractions and amenities, and our spacious room was clean and comfortable. The bed and mattress were good, too. But our room was too hot because the AC didn’t work properly, and the unit was noisy, especially at night. Housekeeping came only once during the eight nights, since rooms are cleaned every four nights. Every two or three nights would make more sense. Our room also had no microwave or toaster, which seems to vary randomly from room to room and was inconvenient for a longer visit. The refrigerator was tiny, more like a freezer, and there was no way to adjust it, so our fruit froze on the first day. Water pressure was strong, but the showerhead holes were clogged and the flow was poor. It needs replacing. The hotel has good points, but these issues could make the stay much better if addressed.

The pool, sauna, and two hot tubs were a great way to unwind after hiking and exploring the beaches. We also loved the buffet breakfast, well worth $24 and among the best we’ve had. Our clean, comfortable room had an ocean view, though hallway footsteps were audible. They didn’t really bother or wake us, and otherwise it was very quiet. The hotel is central and close to the ferry, with plenty of parking, although the gravel lot is full of potholes and could use an upgrade. It was easy to explore the whole island from here, and checkout was quick when we left, just minutes from the ferry. I’d stay again.

This is an excellent hotel in a very convenient spot near the ferry, with a great restaurant on site. The staff were helpful, especially Sylvette. Our room was spotless at arrival, but the daily upkeep was disappointing. We got a notice saying sheets would be changed only after day four for environmental reasons, which was fine, and that towels could be exchanged at the laundry room on the floor, also fine. But nobody tidied the room each day: the bins weren’t emptied, the bed wasn’t made, and most of all the bathroom wasn’t freshened. That was especially frustrating because there’s no toilet brush. I’m fine with handling things myself if I’m given the tools, but these problems don’t have anything to do with the environment.

We enjoyed our stay. The newly renovated room was on the ground floor, with patio access to the central area. In the evenings we sat out with a drink and looked toward the sea. The place was busy but still very quiet. We tried the restaurant, and the location is handy, just minutes from the ferry. I’d recommend staying here.
