Abba Boutique Inn

The new housekeeper was awesome and really helpful. I didn't like the pillow, and they brought me a new set right away. The location is great too, with George Street within walking distance and Bannerman Park about five minutes away.

Room #1 made for a nice stay, and I'd recommend the place to family or friends. The Abba sits in a colorful St. John’s neighborhood, and you can walk to everything you need. I didn't rent a car. At 54, I find walking more fun than driving, so I set out to see it all and did, even walking to the airport. That took 2.5 hours, compared with the 15 to 20 minute drive, they say. St. John's is very hilly, so keep that in mind. Thanks for a nice stay. Cheers!

We stayed on the top floor in a room with a harbour-side view while we were in town for the ECMAs weekend. The place was clean, and having laundry was a nice bonus. We both live in the Torbay area, though we're from St. John's, and staying right in the heart of downtown was well worth it. Everything was close enough to walk to, so we didn't have to worry about cabs. Definitely recommend it.

I booked a flight to Newfoundland because I needed some time away from an abusive environment and wanted to clear my head. Weeks later, I'm still thinking about how peaceful my stay was. I wish I could have stayed forever, and I definitely plan to return to Newfoundland just to visit the Abba Inn again. The place is right by the water and close to the tourist sites, but it was absolutely peaceful, with no drunk people or loud noise. The rooms were spacious, cozy, comfortable and clean. There was a full kitchen and dining area on the main floor that guests could use anytime. Staff were very responsive too. I forgot the front door code so many times, and the housekeeper answered every time I rang. All that, and it was extremely affordable. I highly recommend it. Thanks for making the stay so peaceful.
