La Butte Ronde Couette et Café

I slept so well in a comfy bed. The Auberge was completely quiet, with no pipes, fans, voices, music, or anything else to hear. It's wonderfully clean, has a kitchen anyone would envy, and an excellent host who was very forgiving ;) The road leads down to an amazing beach with cliffs, ocean waves, and an idyllic lighthouse. I was enchanted by it and wish we'd stayed longer than our 3 nights. Hope to come back for a proper walk along the beach. Such a wonderful experience, and a perfect place to spend a vacation on the islands.

Thank you, Patrice, for everything you did to make our visit to Magdalene Islands so enjoyable. The house was ideal for us, with an amazing gourmet kitchen and an excellent grocery store just a short 5-minute drive away. We like to cook on holiday, so that worked perfectly. The great room has a big dining table, a cozy sitting area, and a grand piano that was a highlight for my husband. We also loved the relaxing sun room for late afternoon sunsets and the superb suite with three windows and a 4-piece ensuite. One of our most enjoyable stays anywhere. Perfection!

The owner was quick to respond and even went out of their way to return something we left in our room. The rooms were spacious and impeccably clean, and the location made it convenient to reach the ferry terminal and scenic hiking spots. We especially liked the large, well-equipped shared kitchen and huge common area for relaxing and chatting with other guests. We're so glad we found this place on our first trip to les Îles, and wouldn't stay anywhere else next time.

The kitchen is spectacular, and you can bring your own food to prepare there. It’s a lovely place to mix and mingle with the host and other guests, and staying here felt truly special. The accommodations are beautiful, immaculate, and eco-friendly. There’s a huge cross on the hill right behind the place. I highly recommend making the effort to climb up and enjoy the view!
