Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Quebec City Levis

The check-in and checkout staff were excellent, friendly, and helpful, and the clean, tidy rooms were comfortable enough for sleeping. Housekeeping did a good job and the rooms were well maintained. Still, at $257 a night for four nights, the stay didn't feel worth the price. Breakfast was disappointing: food was often cold and refills came slowly, even with lots of guests. The lobby breakfast area had too little seating and felt overcrowded, so finding a place during busy times was stressful. The hotel is also quite far from downtown. Arriving late made it hard to find food, as no nearby restaurants were open and Uber Eats wasn't available after midnight. Late-night transport choices were limited too. For the cost, location, and overall experience, it didn't meet our expectations.

This was my second stay, and it'll be my last. I'm writing at 1 a.m. after being woken by noisy guests on this floor. They were in the room next door, which shared a connecting door with mine, and let their kids run around making noise at midnight. There's no soundproofing at all. I paid over $200 after tax, yet the standard room had no microwave. Even a motel costing under $150 a night would provide one. Is this really a Hampton Inn? The only good thing about breakfast was that it was complimentary. Never again.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were friendly. Parking was confusing, so be sure to get your ticket validated or you'll pay full price. Breakfast was another issue: the food didn't stretch far enough for the number of guests, many items ran out, and the waiting lines got long. Management should redesign the area to fit the guests. I also would have liked more hooks in the room for jackets, hats, and other things by the entrance.

The staff were nice and friendly, and the other things were fine for a trip where you're out exploring Quebec. On my first day, I arrived late and didn't ask them to change the bed cover and blanket. There was a lot of hair from the previous customer under the blanket. I asked for the cover and blanket to be changed the next day. It may be better to wait until they've changed them before heading out, so you can make sure it's done the way you want. The bed was too soft and made my back uncomfortable.
