The fresh, hot breakfast was delicious and a great price. The woman at the desk, Mme. Beatriz, greeted me kindly. We realized we could speak French and Spanish, and she was delighted to chat with me in Spanish. She and her husband also cook and run the attached restaurant. The motel itself was very clean and well kept. I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels and motels over the last few years, and this compares well even with some five-star places. It’s close to the centre-ville and lots of other amenities. I highly recommend it.

The location is ideal, just off the highway. The hosts were lovely, and the rooms were comfortable and updated.

The owner was great, and the price was good. We finally had a room big enough for the whole family, with all the amenities we needed. It was clean, comfortable, and convenient, and very close to the highway. A perfect place to stop between New Brunswick and Ontario. I can’t see why anyone would pick a tiny room at a boring chain hotel instead. I’ll be back, thank you.

That bright orange cart and the kind man pushing it with his dog deserve to be remembered. He’s walking across Canada to raise awareness of homelessness and money for shelters, and to push for homeless shelters to let Canadians bring their pets. Most shelters don’t allow pets. The owner had told him there were rooms available, but when he arrived, they looked at his cart and suddenly said there were no rooms, even though the hotel was empty. He even tried to show them his Facebook page. You judged someone before hearing his story, and treated a human being like trash. Running a hotel doesn’t give you the right to do that. I’ll make sure people hear about this hotel on social media. I hope you think about how you treat others and learn to be better. Disgraceful. Have a better day. God bless you.
