The setting is elegant and peaceful, and the owners have clearly put creative thought into it. Sandstone B & B was a great place to pause for the night before driving about 20 minutes to the ferry for Prince Edward Island. We were welcomed so warmly, and they set us up with a big, comfortable bed after the Cabot Trail. The room was spotless and had everything we needed, with a homey feel. Breakfast was generous and delicious, especially the homemade muffins and jam. A 10 out of 10 stay.

Breakfast was a highlight, with farm fresh eggs, sausages, bacon, and homemade jams. Dick and Bev made us feel at home and were very accommodating throughout our weekend at Sandstone. The room was spacious, the en-suite bathroom was beautiful, and everything was clean. We’d happily stay again when we’re in the area. Thanks, Bev and Dick.

We had such a good time chatting with Bev and Dick that we honestly didn’t want to head off. The room was lovely, and the house itself is beautiful, with pretty paintings along the upstairs hall. Breakfast was delicious and served on the patio on a beautiful day. We felt right at home, and Bev and Dick were wonderful hosts.

The location was peaceful and quiet, and the hosts were superb, with great attention to detail. I stayed one night on my way back to Ontario. The large bedroom was well appointed and had a full ensuite bathroom, plus an in-room coffee maker and good wifi. Breakfast was great too. 👍👍

The quiet woodland setting was a real part of the stay, including the occasional white tail deer passing by. We came back the following summer after spending three days here in 2013. The rooms are spacious and well equipped, and breakfast was fabulous with good choices. Bev & Dick Webster went out of their way to make the stay perfect.
