Landis Hotel and Suites

The front desk staff, especially Jaspreet, are very nice and respectful. I had a heating problem, and Shivam, the building manager, responded straight away and sent someone over quickly. A great experience.

We do like a lot about living here, especially the spacious rooms and beautiful layout of our unit. My partner and I have been in the building for just over a year, and those qualities were a big part of why we moved in after touring with a realtor. But given the cost of the larger units, we'd hoped for a quieter, more balanced place for working adults. Some repair and maintenance problems were flagged early and still aren't fully resolved, despite our reporting them several times over the past year. There have been several different managers while we've lived here, which has made communication and follow-through harder. We also weren't told during the viewing that many students live here or that classes are associated with the property. As we're both in our 30s, that was an unexpected surprise. At times, especially on weekends and holidays, the noise and chaotic behavior have been disruptive, making the building feel more like student housing or a frat house than a residential building for working adults. Students also often fill the shared gym and common rooms, so it's hard for other residents to use those spaces meant for everyone. If we'd known about the large student population and classes before moving in, we likely would have taken that into account. We hope management takes these concerns seriously and improves the experience for all residents.

I've been at Landis for a year, and it's been an excellent experience. The apartments are comfortable and well maintained. Shivam, the manager, has been professional, supportive and very helpful the whole time. He's approachable and gets concerns resolved quickly, which has made living here smooth and stress-free. I'd highly recommend Landis Hotel as a pleasant and reliable place to stay.
