Idlewyld Inn & Spa

I didn't expect to leave London, Ontario with such a fond impression, but idlewyld made the trip special. We came for a concert at Canada Life Place, and the restaurant meal was one of the best I've had anywhere. The room was amazing, the service stellar, and breakfast was complimentary. Our server, Jacqui, took a real interest in us. After staying in countless hotels and rentals, I've never had such a warm, kind and supportive experience. This place clearly cares about customer service and offers great value. If I return to London, this is the only place I'll stay.

My wife and I celebrated our birthdays at Idlewyld Restaurant last night, and the atmosphere made the evening feel special. We eat vegan and gluten-free, and the kitchen handled that with care. Chef Trevor prepared custom dishes for us, all thoughtful, flavorful and nicely presented. The baby beet salad was fresh and well done, and made vegan for us. We also loved the rich, creamy Cajun sweet potato soup of the day, with its lovely aroma. The new vegan panna cotta was a standout, absolutely to die for. Kasha looked after us warmly and professionally, attentive without intruding. Highly recommend it for the food, service and care with dietary needs.

We only dined there, so I can't comment on the rooms or spa. We've been several times, and the place, staff and food continue to delight. The atmosphere is lovely, and Jennifer took great care of us, with excellent advice on wines and dishes. We'll be back when we get the chance.

The food was delicious and the portions generous, with creative cocktails and a beautiful room. Every detail felt considered, and the staff were warm, attentive and professional. Effie made planning our company Christmas party for 35 easy and stress-free. It was exceptional from start to finish, hands-down the best party we've had in years. We'd absolutely recommend the venue and come back for future events.
