The owners were polite, kind, and helpful, and it was quiet enough for an excellent night's sleep. The bed was very good, and the separate little building at the back, called the "Cottage", was clean and well-maintained. For a budget motel, it gets high marks. It's conveniently just off Autoroute 30 in a semi-rural neighbourhood. Chemin Chambly is a historic road from Longueuil to Chambly, 370 years old.

It's a lovely place and exactly what I expected from the description and reviews. A good budget choice for one person or a couple passing through, or even for a longer stay. The hosts were lovely. The bed and pillows were comfortable and clean, the towels were good, and the room had a good fridge, microwave, effective AC, and a kettle with cups and instant coffee. The wifi was fast and felt safe to use. The room and bathroom were scuffed, but clearly well cleaned and maintained. Everything worked and we had what we needed, so it was pretty much perfect for the price.

The quiet and the owner made this a really nice place. I did have a bit of trouble with the toilet, but that was my only issue. I’d book here again.

I slept nine hours straight, which says a lot about how comfortable that bed was. It’s firm but still soft enough that I didn’t wake up with a sore back. It is a little short, though. I’m 6’1’’, and my feet stuck out all night. The room was so clean I didn’t need to use my sleeping bag, which I usually bring for motels. The owner was friendly, and if you happen to see their chubby cat, you’ll get the feeling they treat guests well. It’s a good stop before heading into downtown Montreal, and the neighborhood felt safe too.
