Le Gîte Du Coteau

Le Gite du Coteau is a hidden gem in rural Quebec. We first stayed for one night last year and liked it enough to return for four nights with friends this year. Éliane and Alain are lovely hosts, and the B & B is spotless with lots of thoughtful touches for a comfortable stay, including access to the bbq and fire pit. We visited local sites they suggested and tried their restaurant recommendations in Quebec City. The Bois Francs Trail is close by for cycling. We also played pickleball at public courts in Plessisville, a 15 minute drive away, and took the ferry from Lévis, an hour's drive, across to Quebec City.

The room was spacious, and the kitchenette and bathroom were clean. The owners are super nice. Loved the experience.

We only stayed one night, but everyone agreed we'd come back for a weekend away. The accommodations were beautifully appointed, and the owner has exquisite taste. It's definitely off the beaten path, but the place is clean and beautiful, and I would highly recommend it.

Éliane and Alain welcomed us warmly when we arrived, and Alain right away helped fix a fellow cyclist’s bike. Éliane showed us around: two lovely, spacious rooms with ensuites, plus a big shared living, dining, and kitchen area. Since we got there late in the afternoon, she urged us to head out for dinner before the nearby restaurant closed. We were glad we listened. It was a family restaurant with great food at good prices. In the morning, Alain cooked and served us breakfast in the large kitchen dining area, with three different options to choose from. What a wonderful experience!
