Harmony Outdoor Inn

That lakefront is amazing. You can sit on the dock by the water, toast marshmallows at the fire pit, or read outside in the rain on the covered, lighted deck. They also include all the paddling gear you could want, including canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. I stayed in the B&B and loved my comfortable, beautifully set-up room, with thoughtful extras like robes, beach towels, and a diffuser. Breakfast was better than I expected, and the coffee was fantastic. The place has such a laid-back feel, and the friendly team made me feel welcome. I can’t say enough good things about Harmony Outdoor Inn. I may try the glamping next year!

The shared fridge and cooking and dining area are a brilliant idea. They make it easy to chat with like-minded guests and make new friends. With the water right there and kayaks and canoes ready to use, the location is fantastic. There are tents and B&B options for different group needs, and the whole place is very well designed and put together. A lovely, restful break that left me ready for the week, whether you’re coming for a weekend or longer.

The private dock, fire pit, and little hiking trail on site made our stay especially lovely. Harmony Outdoor Inn is only a five-minute drive from Parry Sound, so the location worked great for a little escape from the city. My boyfriend and I spent two nights in the Huron room over Thanksgiving weekend. The room, shared bathroom, and house were clean and cozy, with nice cabin-style decor. We enjoyed the self-serve breakfast, with eggs, waffles, bagels, yogurt, granola, cheese, and more. James and Dympna were lovely to chat with, and their adorable dog Molly got lots of pets from us. Highly recommend!

The forest setting for the tents is awesome, and they’ve thought of everything. Just bring food and clothes. The property is well kept, with lots of activities, and there are clear instructions everywhere on signs and chalkboards. I had a great stay. The only reason I gave four stars is that the highway and train noise can get pretty loud. It didn’t bother me, but I can see how it might be a problem for some.
