Sunshine Coast Resort

The room was cozy, comfortable, and well stocked. I was pleasantly surprised by the decent-sized mini fridge, kitchen sink, cutlery, cups, plates, and bowls. The water was hot with good pressure, and the bathtub was a nice size. It was more than I expected based on the room we booked. The location on the water is beautiful, and we adored the Madeira Park area. IGA is close, there are plenty of restaurants near the resort, and everyone we met was incredibly welcoming. The staff here were friendly too, and gave us useful information about activities both onsite and around the area. There are fire pits with wood available, and a hot tub right by the water. It was gorgeous. I’d definitely return, probably with friends in a cabin or chalet, and I’d consider renting an ATV or boat. Strong winds brought down a tree onto a power line on Tuesday evening, and our suite lost power for a short time. The staff kept checking on guests and were moving around constantly to do what they could during the outage. Power was back in less than an hour, which impressed me.

The building is quite old, but they do a great job of keeping it clean. There’s plenty to enjoy, including the fireplace and hot tub. The atmosphere felt warm and inviting, and the staff were attentive and welcoming. Parking was easy to find in the lot. The price seemed reasonable for the service and amenities. I really enjoyed my stay and would try it again.

A lovely little place overlooking the marina in Madeira Park. The staff were so kind and welcoming that I’d happily stay again. Two friends and I were only there for one night, and I’d highly recommend it if you’re breaking up a Sunshine Coast trip over a few days.

We brought our two chihuahuas and stayed one night in a cottage. The hot tub was enjoyable, even though its jets weren’t working. The blower still worked, and the steam shower was a nice touch. Service was very good, especially for the off season. We’ll be back. For a pet-friendly getaway, it’s about as good as it gets.
