Auberge Du Grand Lac

For a one night stay, this hotel had exactly what we needed, and the price was hard to beat. The staff were kind and accommodated our early check-in. Clean and comfortable, and I’d stay again.

We stayed in room 14 over Canadian Thanksgiving, and it was relatively cheap. The hotel is well placed within walking distance of main street. The double bed mattresses were firm, though one frame creaked. The shower had good water pressure, and the only moderate noise was from the heating. The lobby could use a refresh, but you don't sleep there. Local art hung around the hotel is available to buy if you're interested.

The location is absolutely perfect, and the recently renovated rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s an old building and hotel, so the common areas could use some care, but it’s a great budget choice in Magog. I’ve already booked another stay for an upcoming show.

There are only a few rooms, which helped make our stay quiet and peaceful. The beds were comfortable, too. It's a small, cozy hotel, with McDonald’s right across the street and plenty of excellent cafés and restaurants within walking distance.
