Fishermans Haven

Michael and Thomas were easy to talk with, and the house was well placed on the edge of town, within walking distance of most restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful, delicious, and offered lots of variety. We also liked the shared area for storing food and the inviting main floor living room, where we could play old records. The beds were very comfortable, though the bathroom in one of the queen rooms was extremely small.

Thomas was a lovely, accommodating host, and the rooms were clean, bright with natural light, and had very comfortable beds. Breakfast was great, especially the smoked salmon and eggs for me. Fairmont House B&B has been beautifully renovated; we loved the open staircase, chandeliers, and rocking horse. I also have some family history connected to the house, which made the stay feel more personal to me. We've never tipped at a hotel before, but this was well worth the $50.

Michael welcomed us warmly and made a lovely breakfast. Fairmont House is a beautiful property in a fantastic location, and we had a lovely stay. We'd definitely come back next time we're nearby.

Tom was such a warm, gracious host during our three nights at the end of October. My husband, our dog, and I loved the charming, comfortable house and beautiful Mahone Bay. Breakfast was more than we could have asked for: there was already a lovely spread on the dining table, and Tom offered eggs, pancakes, bacon, and other breakfast treats too. I can't recommend this B&B enough!
